When collecting/accepting delivery of your finished product, by leaving the premises and accepting the cake the customer accepts the products design is acceptable, therefore no complaint shall be made on design at a later date.

Any damage, contamination or loss of product after collection/delivery is the responsibility of the customer.

If any problems should occur with the product, 90% of the order will need to be returned within 24 hours to decide any further action. This decision is at the discretion of Buttercup Bakery. The maximum amount of any refund given is the value of the cake. Further compensation is not available.

Allergen Disclaimer.

It is the responsibly of the customer to notify all/any allergy/dietary requirements at the time of placing the order. B
By placing an order the customer understands and accepts that we are unable to guarantee a 100% allergen free product due to regular handling of allergens within the kitchen.

Unless otherwise states all our cakes contain butter, gluten and eggs and are made in an environment that handles nuts, soy and alcohol.

Buttercup Bakery accepts no liability for customers suffering allergic reactions from eating our cakes.

Collection/Delivery.

Collection and delivery times will be arranged with you either at the time of ordering or within 3 days of your order date.
If you require a change to the agreed time please contact us to discuss as soon as possible and we shall do our best to accommodate you, however we are a busy business so this may not always be feasible

Deposits and minimum orders.

A non-refundable deposit of 50%is taken on all orders over £20.

Deposits are required to secure your date and your date is not confirmed until the deposit is paid.

DEPOSITS ARE NON REFUNDABLE SHOUD YOU CANCEL THE ORDER.#

We have a minimum order of 6 cupcakes.

Transporting your cake (if collecting)

The best way to transport your cake is in the boot of your vehicle or smaller cakes can fit in the foot well.

Placing the cake on a passengers lap or on the seat is not recommended and no responsibility can be accepted by Buttercup Bakery for cakes transported this way.

Storing your Cake.

We recommend cupcakes to be consumed within 2-3 days. They should be kept in a cool dark place in the box provided.
Buttercream covered cakes are very sensitive to temperature, so please keep them in the fridge until they need to be displayed.

Fondant covered cakes should be eaten within 5 days, they should be kept in the box provided, and stored in the fridge once cut.

Other information.

You will receive a picture of your order the day before delivery, upon receiving the picture of your order please state if you are unsatisfied with something so this can be corrected.
